The Tamro group acquired Invest for Excel version Enterprise licenses in August 2002. Tamro uses the software for determination of value in corporate acquisitions. Tamro actively makes corporate acquisitions in pharmaceutical retail and wholesale trade in countries in the Baltic Sea region. The Invest for Excel was first used in Finland. Based on good experiences in the use of the software, Tamro decided to acquire licenses to Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway in January 2003.

• The leading pharmaceutical wholesaler in Northern Europe.
• Operates in eight countries and has a market share of around 47% in pharmaceutical wholesale throughout its operating area.
• In Estonia, Latvia and Norway it is alsoactively involved in pharmaceutical retail trade.
• The core business, pharmaceutical distribution and retail trade, is complemented by Tamro MedLab, a provider of healthcare and laboratory products in seven countries.
• Founded by four Finnish pharmacists in 1895, although the roots of operations in Denmark date back to 1801.
• Tamro´s shares have been listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange since 1955. Foreign ownership accounts for a total of 81% of Tamro's shares. Two biggest shareholders are PHOENIX Pharmahandel (40%) and Apoteket AB (19%).
• In 2002, Tamro Group's net sales amounted to EUR 4.1 billion and the average number of employees was 3,438.
