DataPartner is excited to announce availability of Invest for SharePoint system on SharePoint 2013 platform as well as introduction of several new features.
Relational data
Long requested feature to support relational data inside Invest for SharePoint system has become available. Relational data support allows projects to keep large arrays of data such as monthly CapEx budget figures, forecasted or actual and similar data in the system.
Technically, it is implemented as a live connection of traditional SharePoint list with fast SQL relational database. The result is large amounts of data available for reporting, analysis and visualization. Data in SQL database can also be easily connected to other systems for information exchange such as import of actual figures or export of analysis results.

Power BI powered reporting
Power BI is Microsoft's new innovative product line introduced at the Microsoft Partner Conference in July 2013 in Houston. It consists of multiple components that allow users to discover, analyze, present and share the data.
Invest for SharePoint has been enhanced by PowerPivot and PowerView Power BI components to deliver unprecedented reporting capabilities, where users can interact with the reports to fine-tune them for their particular needs.
